Our purpose is to celebrate individuality, encourage confidence, and show that disability does not limit creativity, entrepreneurship, or the ability to build something meaningful.
When I was a child, I often wondered why I wasn’t like all the other kids. I would ask my mom, “Why am I not like everyone else?” She would remind me that I was just like every other child. The only difference was that I could not walk because of cerebral palsy. But she taught me something that stayed with me throughout my life: I could do anything I put my mind to, and I should never let anyone tell me that I couldn’t. My mother encouraged me to smile, believe in myself, and prove the doubters wrong. I carried her words with me as I grew up, and they became a part of who I am.
S&A FOUNDATION LLC was inspired by my mother and the strength, encouragement, and belief she gave me. My journey has taught me that our circumstances do not have to define our possibilities. With determination, creativity, and the courage to believe in yourself, you can create something meaningful. Through my bead-making and handmade jewelry, I have found a way to express my creativity, share my passion, and inspire others to embrace their own uniqueness.
